Clio Snacks, LLC (“Clio,” “we,” “us,” “our”) and its affiliates are committed to protecting and preserving your privacy. This policy sets out the basis on which any personal information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be used, retained and disclosed by us. Personal information is any information which relates to a natural person and directly or indirectly allows that person to be identified. By using any of our websites (“Site”), you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy also describes the manner in which we collect, use and disclose information that you provide to us when you use our Site.
By using this Site, you consent to the use of the personal information that you provide to us in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We do update this Privacy Policy from time to time so please review this Privacy Policy regularly. If we materially alter our Privacy Policy, we will notify you of such changes by posting a notice on our Site and/or contacting you at the e-mail address provided to us, as applicable. Your continued use of the Site will be deemed your agreement that your information may be used in accordance with the new policy. Please note that we do not collect and/or use payment details. Our Site is hosted on Squarespace Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. By submitting a telephone number to Clio, you agree that a representative of Clio can contact you at the number you provide, potentially using automated technology (including texts/SMS messaging) or a pre-recorded message. Your consent is not an obligation to receive any of our products and/or services.
How We Use Cookies

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Third Party Websites
When you access third party websites through our Site, you understand and acknowledge that your personal information will be handled in accordance with the privacy practices applicable to those third-party websites. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies whatsoever as we have no control over them.
Users Only of Legal Age of Majority
Our Site is designed and intended for those who have reached the age of majority (18 years of age). By using our Site, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age or older. We are not liable for any damages that may result from a user’s misrepresentation of age.
No one under age 14 is authorized to submit or post any information, including personally identifying information, on our Site. Under no circumstances may anyone under age 14 use our Site. Parents or legal guardians of children under 14 cannot agree to these Terms on their behalf.
Retention
We retain the personal information we collect for as long as required for the fulfilment of identified purposes, as long as it is reasonable to do so for customer service, legal or commercial reasons. The retention period depends on the purposes and the nature of the information. On the expiry of this period, we permanently and securely destroy or anonymize the information in compliance with applicable legislation.
International Data Transfer
Your personal information may be communicated outside of Québec or Canada, for the purposes described above, including its collection, use, disclosure and retention. While located outside of Canada, your personal information will be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction, which may have laws that are less protective than Canadian laws. • You may withdraw your consent, but we will no longer be able to provide you a service or product that requires such consent;
• You may not withdraw your consent because processing your personal information is necessary or mandatory.
In either case, we may be legally required to retain certain personal information.

Any such request must contain sufficient details for us to be able to address it. We undertake to respond to any such request within a reasonable period of time, and to the extent possible, within a maximum of thirty (30) days, as set out in the applicable laws. We must, however, first verify the identity of the person making such a request.
We will ensure that your personal information is as accurate, complete and up-to-date as possible for the purposes for which it is used. However, it is your responsibility to advise us of changes to your personal information, such as your contact information.
Complaints
You may file a complaint to our customer service if you believe that we are not complying with our obligations to protect personal information. We will confirm receipt of your complaint, contact you for more information as needed, conduct a confidential investigation and share its conclusions with you. If your complaint is justified, we will take appropriate measures to correct the situation.
